    I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2015 Cadillac Escalade in March 2016. At the time of purchase, the SUV had 42,000 miles on it. It currently has 58,000, meaning I only put 16,000 miles on the vehicle. I took the truck to Barksdale to get serviced and was informed that the suspension has gone out on a truck that I have not owned a year. Barksdale refuse to repair this issue and I'm feeling like I was sold a lemon.   • Don't buy from Atwood Chevrolet



    All the problems I been having out of this truck since I got it. 09/11/13 - Took truck because the stabli-trak light on with ABS light and it’s cutting off during driving and check engine light. 09/11/13 - They replaced the Ignition switch and cleaned the TBI. 09/12/13 - Took truck back because still want start and it dies while driving. 09/12/13 - They say they replaced ignition switch B, it shortened out.   • Recall turns into $900 repair



    On October 13, 2014 I took my 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo to Harbor Chevrolet in Michigan City IN for the ignition recall. Sixteen days later on 29th of October my car would not start. Key found not turn. I had the car towed to Sauers Buick GMC in LaPorte IN. I was told the ignition needed to be replaced. $881.00 that cost.     Every time I hear on the news or on the internet about this ignition recall, I have to wonder what is this company really going to do for these poor people. You see we OWNED a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix in which my son took to college. One evening he had just gotten to his dorm and was just entering his room.   • Everything about GM Is terrible



    I have 3 Chevrolet 2500 vans that have had numerous problems from yaw sensors , rollover sensors , airbag sensors , engine misfires, and now torque converters . Because my vans are two months past warranty , I get no assistance .I've tried to talk to the local dealer , and customer service to get help with cost .     My 2013 malibu has 26.6K miles on it and has a noise that can not be identified by the service dept or GM. GM sends in an engineer to review and fix, and instead they REDUCE the noise by 90% and can't identify nor FIX the issue. I want them to provide incentives to me to purchase another vehicle since the vehicle I bought thinking it would be working 100% of the time, now is 90% reduced and safe to drive.   • GM truck seat belts rip at 71,000 miles



    At 71,000 miles on my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado the driver's seat belt started ripping on both edges. The damage was quickly diagnosed by the dealer as sharp edges where the seat belt comes out of the B pillar on the side of the truck cab.   • Transmission failure



    I purchased a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu Lt in June 2012 from Taylor Chevrolet. Just recently while driving my vehicle my car just stopped suddenly in the middle of traffic. After getting my car towed to Tenneyson Chevrolet I was told my transmission went out and my power train warranty expired 5 months ago.     I have a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. Over the past 6 months I have had problem after problem.     Yes, a third bulletin comes out over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything from GM concerning the $0.58 spring being in at the local dealership.     I am a disabled Veteran of the US Marines. I also used to be a huge fan of GM and Camaro's in particular. My word is my bond and I expect honesty from an employer.     I bought a Pontiac Torrent brand new in 2007. I've had a lot of problems with it since I've owned it. Current problem is the transmission. The torque converter is bad and needs replaced.     This truck is not worth buying! My husband bought one 6 months ago with only 70,000 miles on it.   • General Motors False Advertising with slogan "Professional Grade"



    I have been a loyal purchaser of GM vehicles since 1967. GM now promotes an advertising slogan entitled "Professional Grade". This slogan is false, deceptive and deceitful. Currently, I own a 2007 GMC Yukon upgraded with chrome door handles. Less than 2 years ago, the driver's door handle feel off in my hand (literally). The cost to repair was $150.00 plus tax.     I have had my share of GM vehicles and nothing else, over the years. I have had problems with a few of them but nothing to make me start purchasing Ford, Dodge, or non American vehicles.
